East London one-dayer Field Day have announced a smattering of new acts for their 2013 edition.

Lee Gamble, no doubt still delirious following his big win at the FACT BRITs, will be appearing. Diversions 1994-1996/Dutch Tvashar Plumes were, for the most part, elegiac and elegant, but Gamble knows how to cut up a rug behind the decks – anticipate a top-notch session from the rehabilitated junglist. Hessle Audio regular Objekt will be showcasing his forensic, immaculately produced take on techno. With a new split with Cosmin TRG just out and more material due later in the year, the Berlin resident can be expected to bring more future fare in the vein of prickly wobbler ‘Cactus’. New Houndstooth signing Throwing Snow will be showcasing his off-kilter beat music and twinkling electronica, and Planet Mu’s resident Young Werther Rudi Zygadlo will also be appearing. Warp polymath Kwes, teenage house sensation Happa and Fabric.Live mixer Daniel Avery are also set to play.

Further new additions include Koreless, Toy, Bobby Tank, King Krule, METZ, Jagwar Ma and Guards. They join the likes of TNGHT Disclosure Animal Collective, Bat for Lashes, Four Tet, Fucked Up, Daphni, Jacques Greene, Karenn How to Dress Well, Julio Bashmore and Mulatu Astatke.

Field Day takes place on May 25 at London’s Victoria Park. Head here for tickets and further information. A new edition of the Field Day Radio show is here, hosted by Field Day founder Tom Baker and featuring an exclusive mix from Amateur Best.
