Disclosure confirmed for "big slot" at Glastonbury 2014

Disclosure will play a “big slot” at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, according to organiser Emily Eavis.

“We can say that they’ll be back, which is brilliant for us because they had an amazing year last year and they are one of the greatest British acts at the moment,” Eavis told NME. “So that’s exciting too, so you can see them in a big slot. Somewhere.”

If FACT staffers were the betting type, we’d have money on a headline slot at the Sonic tent in the dance-focused Silver Hayes area.

Earlier today Eavis announced that Dolly Parton will close the festival on Sunday night, while Blondie have also confirmed their appearance at Worthy Farm.

After being left empty-handed at last week’s BRIT Awards, last night Disclosure picked up an NME Award for best single for ‘White Noise’. This Saturday they’ll be DJing back-to-back all-night with Eats Everything at XOYO in East London.
