Sam Binga – formerly Baobinga – is making the best music of his career right now
Using drum’n’bass as a jumping-off point, he’s constantly making the rudest, most ridiculous music at that tempo around – though as his Against the Clock episode showed, he’s as inspired by Dipset as he is Doc Scott. Oh, and he always seems to have the loudest kicks – that helps. On ‘Tek Nuh Chat’, he teams up with man-about-town Redders – it’s out now on Critical, and we’re premiering the video above.
Sez Binga, “we filmed it on an old school Sony Digital8 Hi8 camcorder – the classic skate video camera – which is why it has that classic lo-fi skate vid look to the footage.” If you like what you see/hear, cop the full Nuh Chat EP on digital or limited blue vinyl.
