Make (more) beats in your browser.

We’ve seen a few browser-based drum machines in recent months, but the WebX0X from Irritant Creative might be the most powerful yet.

It uses the Web Audio API, and none of the sounds are samples – they’re all created in the browser. It features four voices, each of which has fully tweakable tone and noise controls and their own sequencer.

It takes its name from Roland’s family of drum machines from the TR-606 to the TR-909, but the developers promise its architecture makes it even more flexible in terms of what sounds it can make.

Try it out here, and when you’ve done with that, check out a browser-based TB-303. [via Create Digital Music]
