“This is for every woman, every human who has ever been abused,” wrote the singer on Instagram.

Kesha’s long-awaited civil lawsuit – where she is seeking to be released from her contract with producer Dr. Luke – will be heard in court today in New York.

“I have nothing left to hide. I did this because the truth was eating away my soul and killing me from the inside. this is not just for me. this is for every woman, every human who has ever been abused. sexually. emotionally. mentally.

“I had to tell the truth. so the outcome will be what it will be. there’s nothing left I can do. it’s just so scary to have zero control in your fate. but this is my path this life for whatever reason,” read the statement.

She also said nerves were “going crazy,” via a separate Instagram post.

Kesha alleges that her producer Luke Gottwald was abusive for the duration of their decade-long professional relationship.

Among the charges in the lawsuit, which was obtained by TMZ, are claims that Gottwald plied her with drugs, forced himself on her while she was intoxicated, and violently attacked her. She also says that Gottwald’s abuse led to her widely-reported eating disorder, claiming that he said, “You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me.”

Gottwald’s own extortion lawsuit against Kesha’s mother was dismissed earlier this month, with her mother taking to Twitter to celebrate, writing, “Truth is powerful stuff!!”

nerves are going crazy. I guess I’ll just watch the x files.
