Californian singer denies delay to long-awaited Night Time, My Time follow-up.
Sky Ferreira has hit out at critics over perceived delays to her new album Masochism in a series of tweets, insisting “I’d rather make & release the best/most honest thing possible instead of trying to race time.”
Masochism had previously been slated for a summer 2016 release, but work on the album – produced by Ariel Rechtshaid with help from Kanye West collaborator Mike Dean and Kendrick Lamar producer Rahki – is on-going, according to Ferreira.
I never gave a date on my album. Therefore there’s no “delay”. I’m working on it & have been since I was touring

Bullying me on the Internet or whatever will not make the process faster

I’ve said the same thing multiple times so I’m not going to go on a “rant” about it

I’ve been working on it and doing lots of other (creative) things

There isn’t a timeline on music or creativity in general

Sky Ferreira’s 2013’s full-length Night Time, My Time, was our second favourite album of 2013.
