An all-star cast for an important cause.
Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, Major Lazer and Metallica will headline the fifth annual Global Citizen Festival, which takes place in New York’s Central Park on September 24.
Usher, Eddie Vedder, Ellie Goulding, reggaeton star Yandel, Yusuf/Cat Stevens and festival organiser Chris Martin will all make appearances, as well.

The festival is also a charity event which seeks to raise awareness about global poverty. Tickets are free but must be earned through “completing actions to help promote and ensure that equitable and quality education is available to all.”
