The highlight: a noise cover of Blawan’s ‘Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage?’.

The Quarter Inch Collective is a tape/CD-R label based in Dublin. On their final release, and third “Quompilation,” the collective brought together 14 Irish acts to cover songs from 2012, including some FACT favorites.

Simon Bird offers a version of Swans’ ‘Mother Of The World’, Kathi Burke takes on Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinkin Bout You’, and — in the compilation’s most surprising effort — Irish noise act Girl Band takes on the horror-flick techno of Blawan’s ‘Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage?’.
