Messrs Tennant and Lowe get Electric on their twelfth studio album – by some way their beefiest, most club-friendly album to date.
Masterminded by pop svengali Stuart Price, Electric follows the example of lead single ‘Axis’ by plumping for powerful, machine-tooled electropop-writ-large. The album – the first PSB studio LP in almost 30 years not to see release through Parlophone – arrives on Kobalt Label Services, and the pair are “hugely proud” of the results. It’s bold, brash, colourful, and very obviously their best album in yonks – click below to listen.
Electric is due on July 15.
