It’s Halloween (almost). So this weekend’s FACT playlist starts off with a cut (see what we did there?) from the daddy himself, John Carpenter.

Elsewhere you’ll find recent FACT downloads from VVV, Basement Jaxx and Lone, and a track from Chris & Cosey, half of the disbanded-again-as-of-today Throbbing Gristle. Terror Danjah’s Undeniable album is out on Monday, so we thought it only right to include its title track, and to honour Phonica’s Ramp Recordings showcase and the newly revamped So Bones, both taking place on the same night, we’ve got two of Maxmillion Dunbar and Cassie’s finest moments to date.

Hopefully we’ll see you on Sunday, when we’ll be taking over the Lock Tavern with the London debut of juke legend DJ Spinn, fellow footwork champ Chrissy Murderbot, Bok Bok, Hyetal and Ill Blu. Ill Blu will kicking things off at 6pm and the party finishes at 11pm, so make sure you’re there on time. Entry, as ever with the Lock, is free.
