Mute Records’ new sub-label Liberation Technologies will launch with the debut 12″ by King Felix.

King Felix, as you may have guessed from the name, is the work of Laurel Halo (King Felix was also the name of her first EP, back in 2010). Specialising in blurred dance music and acting as an appropriate counter-weight to the more “human” work that Halo pursues on her forthcoming album for Hyperdub, King Felix’s Spring will be released on the label next week; one of its three title tracks can now be streamed at the bottom of this post.
