Sónar has revealed the next set of additions to this year’s Barcelona edition.

Heading up the list of Sónar by Day additions is the J.E.T.S. project from Jimmy Edgar and Machinedrum, who will be exploring “awe-inspiring syncopated rhythms” with a four-deck performance. They’re joined by trance deconstructionist Lorenzo Senni and Finnish duo Jimi Tenor & Jori Hulkonnen, who will perform alive soundtrack to their silent science fiction film Nuntius.

The Sónar by Night event has added a selection of French producer Rone, who will present songs from his new album “Creatures” together with a story-based AV show. Underground hardware techno duo Paranoid London will appear, alongside Francesco Tristano, Salva and DJ Fresh, who closes Friday night at SonarClub with his “fully revamped sound”.

Red Bull Music Academy’s programme at SonarDôme adds a performance from grime veteran Skepta together with JME, as well as a set from Eglo mainstay Floating Points. They’ll be joined by recent RBMA graduate Palms TraxOlde Gods, Valesuchi, Larry GusLAO and NV. If that wasn’t enough, Sónar has also announced the appearance of Nyloïd the mechanical spider, a sound sculpture described as “a sensual and threatening experience consisting of three long six-metre length limbs, brought to life by a sophisticated mechanisms and audio devices”.

The new additions join the previously announced artists, including The Chemical Brothers, Skrillex, FKA Twigs, Flying Lotus, Róisín Murphy, Jamie xx, Arca & Jesse Kanda, A$AP Rocky, Helena Hauff, Lee Gamble, Autechre, Squarepusher and more.

Sónar 2015 takes place from 18-20 June in Barcelona, Spain. For full details, visit the Sónar website.
