A new album is also said to follow later this year.

French synth pop musician Colder has broken a ten-year hiatus by announcing the imminent release of a new single. ‘Turn My Back’ will arrive via Not Available/Bataille on May 25.

Colder is the solo project of Paris-based musician Marc Nguyen Tan. Colder has previously delivered two solo albums, Again and Heat, through Trevor Jackson’s Output Recordings in the mid-00s. Since the release of those albums Tan has been largely quiet on the musical front, focusing on his work as an art director and operating the creative agency le cabinet. paris.

Along with the new single, both of Tan’s albums for Output Recordings will be reissued later this year. Colder has also alluded to the possibility of a new album, due to arrive later this year. A remix package for ‘Turn My Back’ has also been prepared, featuring versions from Cómeme’s Christian S., In Flagranti, Marc Piñol, Patrice Bäumel and Vito and Druzzi (formerly of The Rapture).
