Semibreve Festival is back for its fifth edition, taking place from October 30 to November 1 in Braga, Portugal.

With gigs happening at the town’s grand Theatro Circo, the GNRation arts complex and the 18th century house Casa Rolão, the festival focuses on cutting edge electronic music and unique collaborations, having previously commissioned performances by the likes of Ben Frost, Demdike Stare and Vladislav Delay.

The first handful of artists for this year’s event have now been announced. Gerald Donald’s long-running techno/electro project Dopplereffekt will present an A/V show; electronic legend Roedelius will celebrate his 80th birthday in an exclusive concert featuring Portuguese musicians and a visual artist; Vessel will team up with Portuguese video artist p.ma for a presentation of his 2014 album Punish Honey; and found sound collagist Klara Lewis will perform her album Ett.

Tickets are now on sale, with a festival pass available for 25 euros until August 31.
