Hear the ambient comedown to Polar Inertia’s newest release.
French techno outfit Polar Inertia don’t always sound as cold and glacial as their name. Their newest double EP (which despite the name is nearly 80-minutes long) builds an entire narrative through fiery techno and apocalyptic voiceover. The second disc, however, fits their name perfect. It is dedicated entirely to the 40-minute finale ‘Can We See Well Enough To Move On’, a live recording captured last year for the closing of their expo in Brussels at the gallery Abilene.
Alternately beautiful and alienating, it’s a wonderful thing to get lost in as it gradually finds faint rhythms and structures before evaporating back into ambient mist. Listen to it below and look for it via DEMENT3D.
