It follows a week of typhoon-like conditions in Japan.

Dommune, the Tokyo venue that hosts regular DJ live streams, has been forced to close due to flooding,

As RA reports, the flood follows a week of typhoon-like conditions in Tokyo. According to Dommune’s Twitter account, a small leak in an exhaust vent turned into much larger stream of water that overwhelmed the studio.

Several pieces of equipment were damaged in the flood, but Dommune boss Naohiro Ukawa was reportedly able to save the studio’s vast archive of video.

There’s currently no indication as to when the studio will reopen – Dommune regular MNML SSGS reported on Twitter that the status of next week’s show is “unclear”.

Many international DJs have passed through the doors of Dommune’s studio over the years, including Ben UFO, Nina Kraviz and Samuel Kerridge.
