Hear Taylor’s “deafening roar” in the sci-fi series on October 3.

Doctor Who has seen an array of unusual celebrity guests over the years, but we didn’t see Slipknot’s Corey Taylor being the next.

As the Mirror reports, Taylor will be lending his vocal talents to provide the “deafening roar” of alien warlord The Fisher King.

Taylor is a massive fan of the show, and when the production team heard Slipknot were playing in Cardiff, gave the band a VIP tour and asked if Taylor wanted to record his scream for the character.
