Aïsha Devi, Pauline Oliveros, Fis, Peder Mannerfelt, J.G Biberkopf and more are lined up for 2016.

Berlin’s CTM Festival has announced the first list of artists for the 2016 edition.

The line-up is split between avant-garde electronics and club focused acts, with Pauline Oliveros, Fis, Peder Mannerfelt, J.G Biberkopf and Aïsha Devi appearing on a bill with Lena Willikens, Honey Dijon, Kassem Mosse and more.

Morphine Records founder Rabih Beaini is the festival’s guest co-curator. Known for releasing a wide range of global electronic sounds on his label, his approach fits in nicely with the festival’s theme of “New Geographies”, which organisers say “examines today’s rapidly collapsing borders and emerging new hybrid topographies, as well as the tensions and essentialist backlashes that arise as a response to these changes.” Acts from China, Poland, Lebanon, Tunisia and other countries all feature on the line-up.

The festival takes place from January 29 to February 7 at venues across Berlin. You can find full details and tickets at the CTM website.
