Recipients of the 2014 Bose Creative Grant, Atlas Bound, are ramping up for the release of their Lullaby EP later this month.

Today, they’ve debuted ‘Softer Still’, a lush pop song indebted to soul from the EP. The collection is a culmination of the work the Australian duo was able to make with the money they were awarded.

“It took time to create music that represented the direction we wanted take and what we were trying to achieve,” the duo says. “It’s been an enjoyable yet sometimes testing process — earnestly diving into the craft and taking those first baby steps towards your vision of where the project can go musically, and to [us] ’Softer Still’ is the biggest indicator of that journey. The focus has always been on getting the music right, and we couldn’t be prouder of these songs.”
