Kidney disease and complications due to diabetes are the cause.

Rapper Attrell Cordes, better known as Prince Be of the group P.M. Dawn, has died, TMZ reports. The rapper reportedly died in his New Jersey home of kidney disease. He was 46.

Cordes long suffered from diabetes according his cousin and fellow P.M. Dawn member Doc. G who posted a statement on the group’s Facebook.

“Pain from diabetes can’t harm you anymore, my heart is at peace b-cuz u suffered so long,” he wrote.
