All the 303 you could possibly want in one night.

Legendary Chicago outfit Phuture are to make a rare London appearance in October alongside 808 State as part of a celebration of all things acid house.

Phuture, made up of DJ Pierre, Spanky and now ex-member Herb J, created what is widely held to be one of the first acid house tracks, 1987’s ‘Acid Tracks’. The night will see them perform a live set full of TB-303 action.

The party also features UK acid house heroes 808 State, who formed in Manchester the same year as Phuture’s seminal record was released. They will also perform a live set that includes founding member Graham Massey.

Taking place at Camden’s Koko venue on October 8, the line-up also includes performances from Planet Mu boss Mike Paradinas in his μ-Ziq guise, Robert Babicz, who records under the name Bob Acid, and veteran 303 mangler Ceephax Acid Crew. Phuture’s DJ Pierre will also perform a solo set at the party.

Tickets for the event, which is being hosted by The Playground, are on sale now from the promoter’s website.
