The undersea game gets a “bioluminiscent” vinyl soundtrack.

Abzû, an undersea adventure game brought to you by the same folks who made Journey, is getting an equally aquatic 2xLP for its soundtrack. The record is pressed on blue vinyl that “contains a special ‘bioluminescent’ layer of glow-in-the-dark ink on both the interior and exterior of the vinyl jacket” – and you can only buy it until 11:59pm PST today.

Composed by Austin Wintory, who also worked on the Journey OST, the score was performed by The Nashville Scoring Orchestra, London Voices and Abzu Harp Ensemble, resulting in a truly unique mix of chamber choir and semi-traditional orchestral performances.
