Because Drake definitely needs this.

Drake has hit yet another streaming landmark – ‘One Dance’ is now the first single track to notch up one billion streams on Spotify.

We already knew that ‘One Dance’ is the streaming platform’s biggest song of the year and indeed, of all-time, with the Canadian also crowned most streamed artist ever back in May. Now he can add the one billion stream tally to his shelf of virtual awards.

The viral hit, which features Wizkid and Kyla, spent 15 weeks at the top of the UK singles chart – the longest run to date – overtaking previous record holder and fellow Canadian Bryan Adams with his 1991 track ‘Everything I Do (I Do It For You).’ [via Billboard]
