Grab some previously unreleased phantasmagoric R&B from Canadian producer Zodiac. 

Best known for his largely uncredited work on The Weeknd’s House Of Balloons, Jeremy Rose has since released an EP on Jacques Greene’s Vase label and been snapped up by Paul Epworth as an in-house beatmaker. Along with How To Dress Well and Miguel, he’s also one of the talking heads on a new “alt-R&B” mini-documentary, produced as part of RBMA’s  investigative H∆SHTAG$ series.

The Academy have released a free exclusive track from the producer to accompany the film, titled ‘PE1’. It’s vintage Zodiac: gossamer beat music for gloomy nights, notable for some Timbaland-style percussion crunch and a stammering vocal sample, and all sorts of lovely as a result.
