Seems East London’s Infrasonics has decided to take the new year by storm.

Totally pumped, furious work outs from Kingthing and Jamie Grind herald their first release of 2012, showcasing a high-octane mixture of snarling club sounds as aggressively funky as any Swamp 81 or Fade To Mind material. Kingthing explores swirling filtered synths and 808s in an unashamed mixture of trance, modern synthfunk, acid and breakbeat footwork. On the flip, Jamie Grind picks up the pace still further by re-working bassline into a sound capturing pretty much all the decent developments in UK club music from 2008 to the present at a hyped 140bpm. Dangerous release, and highly recommended.
