The Boiler Room’s ascent to fame has reached some pretty surreal heights over the past year or so.

There was the Radiohead-curated event where Thom Yorke stepped up to DJ, and that Carl Craig live set in the dingy side room of Corsica Studios.

Last month’s Record Store Day launch party, though, reached new heights. A performance from techno monoliths Orbital would have been enough, but they were eclipsed somewhat by a turn from reformed post-punkers Public Image Ltd. You can stream the full set below, with John Lydon on typically melodramatic form over PiL classics including ‘Disappointed’, ‘Warrior’ and ‘This Is Not A Love Song’.
