Beat supremo, NTS DJ and high profile exile Kutmah has been tapped by Gilles Peterson to compile the latest edition in his Worldwide Family mix series.

Vol. 1, compiled by Lefto and Simbad, featured skewed beatmakers like Exile, TOKiMONSTA and Airhead. The second edition in the series continues along similar lines, drawing together a global alliance of airy head-nod.

There are quite a few tracks on here you might have heard before: Slugabed‘s ‘Sex’ has been doing the rounds for a while, and Hudson Mohawke‘s ‘Are You Feelin Hot?’ has been drifting around since around 2009. Highlights from the better-known artists include burbling Flying Lotus rarity ‘Samsfav’, Samiyam‘s bouncy ‘Medallion’ and Tadd Mullinix‘s (aka Dabrye) excellent ‘Exchanging Modes’. Seven Davis Jr. and Dakim are among the new breed.
