Funkystepz affiliate Scrufizzer has been bubbling under for a while now, but ‘What’s New’ seems like it’ll be his calling card for some time.

Grime MCs over dubstep can go either way – we’ve all seen how forced it can sound at times – but Scrufizzer strolls through a popping, amber riff like he was born for it. Between the cold-eyed reminiscing on the verses and the casual, catchy chorus, there’s more than a touch of classic Dizzee about ‘Fizzer here, but whisper it quietly – nobody needs another ‘Bonkers’.
