This month sees the very welcome return of Heatsick.

Déviation is his second release on Bill Kouligas’s redoubtable PAN label, following last year’s Intersex LP, but in fact picks up where he left off with the irresistible ‘Dream Tennis’ 12″ on Cocktail d’Amor, comprising four tracks of lo-fi, faux-naive “house” music. Of particular note is the dub-influenced title track, which is as absorbing and hypnotic as it is crackpot.

Richard Forbes-Hamilton has created a suitably DIY video for ‘Déviation’, filmed at Berlin’s Tempelhof airport – watch it below. The 12″, pressed on 140g white vinyl and housed in a silk screened PVC sleeve with artwork by Kathryn Politis and Bill Kouligas, is out tomorrow.
