Edinburgh’s Linkwood has always been a safe pair of hands.

His early productions in particular, often appearing on friend Lindsay Todd’s Firecracker imprint, managed to tap into the timeless house spirit whilst moulding their materials into unexpected new shapes (here’s a blinder).

‘Your Love Is……’ is a slow-burner, sultry and raw, seemingly crafted for a brief moment of blissful introspection on the dancefloor. Its syrupy vocal articulates that universal house music theme, a loss of control to love, whilst plangent strings occasionally swell up in the mix to skin-tingling effect.
