Fresh off the back of those Rhythm & Zone/Tag Champz Bundle mixtapes, rap nomads Main Attrakionz finally have an album proper on the way.

Bossalinis & Fooliyones is the follow-up to last year’s spectral 808s & Dark Grapes. Their debut LP looks like it will be a venturesome affair, with production from the likes of Supreme Cuts and The Mekanix is already confirmed. FACT have the UK exclusive of lead single ‘Do It For The Bay’, and it shows the pair in good-time mode.

Harry Fraud’s beat, heavy on the Rhodes patches and artificial horns, is all ersatz exuberance. Mondre MAN, as per, sounds like his verse has been recorded whilst horizontal; Squadda B’s wispy yelp, by contrast, is spirited and urgent. A gravelly appearance from DaVinci adds a bit of heft to proceedings. Whether Bossalinis & Fooliyones can match its predecessor’s ear for atmosphere has yet to be seen, but ‘Do It For The Bay’ is a charming opening play.

Bossalinis & Fooliyones is due on October 23 on Young One Records. The pair are also currently about to embark on a Stateside tour, dates for which are included below.
