Hear Kode9 look back at Hyperdub in 2012 on the label's Rinse FM show

If you’ve read FACT’s 10 Best Record Labels of 2012, then you’ll know that we thought very highly of Hyperdub’s year.

With albums coming from Cooly G, Laurel Halo, DVA, LV, Terror Danger and Dean Blunt & Inga Copeland, it’s easy to talk about 2012 as Hyperdub’s strongest year as an album-driven label, and you’d have a point, but it would be a crime to overlook the singles that the imprint has released in 2012, from Burial (Kindred EP), King Britt (Chasing Rainbows EP), Ill Blu (‘Clapper’) and more.

This month’s Hyperdub show on Rinse FM saw Kode9 look back at the year the label’s had, starting with Burial’s ‘Ashtray Wasp’ and rolling out material from Laurel Halo, DVA and more. You can stream and download the show here.
