As reported, BBC Radio 1’s ever-interesting In New DJs We Trust series has announced its new breed for 2013. Jackmaster, Salva, Brodinski and Monki will take up the reins, following in the footsteps of previous signings Julio Bashmore, Mosca, and Skream & Benga.

Jackmaster’s stint proper doesn’t start until Februrary 21, but the station brought him in at 9.00pm yesterday evening for an hour-long one-off showcase. It’s a beefy set, opening with Tangerine Dream’s ‘Love On A Real Train’ and taking in Dual Shaman, Deadboy and Kenton Slash Demon.

Head here to listen. Jackmaster’s regular show will take place on the third Thursday of every month, and promises “everything from 90bpm through to 160bpm”.
