Two decades plus into his career, the rapper/figurehead/unlikely Oscar winner Juicy J’s stock has never been higher.
The Three 6 Mafia elder statesman notched up his ever first Billboard No. 1 single with 2012’s strip club jam ‘Bandz A Make Her Dance’, and he’s been all over the guest appearances, sharing studio space with Wiz Khalifa, Future, and The Weeknd. With great power, however, comes great responsibility, and Juicy J’s latest features suggests somebody might need to have a quiet word.
As Idolator note, Juicy features on the new single from The X Factor alumna and humanoid Bratz doll Cher Lloyd. Although the original UK version of ‘With Ur Love’ featured a spot from Mike Posner, Juicy has been drafted in for the proper US release. Moments to look out for: a Muppet shout-out and, in a clunky attempt at brand synergy, a reference to basketball player Sheryl Swoops.
