15 years deep into his career, NY-based producer Function has just released his debut album.

Incubation follows on from last year’s Obsessed EP, and sees the Sandwell District triumvir producing atmospheric techno, smitten with Jeff Mills and supple mid 1990s R&S fare. Tilting from arpeggiator cascades to acid freak-outs, it’s a classy collection of retro-futuristic techno, bolstored by some fantastically widescreen engineering work from  Tobias Freund.

Incubation is now available to stream in full below, courtesy of The Fader. The album is out now on 2×12″ and CD formats (the CD contains one bonus track) on March 4.
