Pulled from their forthcoming EP of the same name, lead track ‘Recover’ now comes accompanied by a quirky sci-fi video.

The track itself is CHVRCHES perfect calling card, shining a spotlight on lead singer Lauren Mayberry’s gorgeous and unmistakably Scottish coos and while allowing the band’s silky electroid production to speak for itself. It sort of sounds like The Knife crossed with the Cocteau Twins if that makes any sense at all, and that’s no bad thing in our book.

In keeping with the trio’s mysterious image the video is a spooky and desolate sci-fi short, with more in keeping with Duncan Jones’s Moon than with your usual YouTube fare – job well done, guys. [via Stereogum]
