DEEK boss Bullion doesn’t make a habit of staying in one place for too long.

Although best-known for his beat-orientated work as Bullion, he’s released motorik, hi-life and technicolour pop under the alias. His Nautic side project, meanwhile, sees him peddle gooey soft-rock, as exemplified on recent single ‘Fresh Eyes’.

His latest gig is Blludd Relations, a two-man effort with Jesse Hackett, best known for releases on Honest Jon’s as Elmore Judd. This time around, Bullion’s focusing on bug-eyed soul, full of analogue squiggles and wheezing vocoder lines. Trailer track ‘Even Steven’ is as comforting and bright as a scrap of coloured felt – thoroughly outlandish, and well worth your time.

Blludd Relations’ self-titled debut LP will arrive later in the year. [via Dummy]
