Set to a characteristically woozy, half-speed video ‘Forlorn Dub’ excels with a healthy dose of low slung bass and a kick drum so dusty we’ve had to hit CVS to re-up on the Claritin D. Witch house might be out the back door with yesterday’s paper, but oOoOO proves here that he’s got a sound all of his own, regardless of which hip subgenre might have come and gone, and while we don’t have a lot of information about where the track belongs or where it might end up, our fingers and toes are crossed that ‘Forlorn Dub’ might be a taster of something a bit more substantial.
