Somehow in line with the poor weather in the Massachusetts area right now (c’mon Spring where are you?), Boston’s Durkin has dropped the sno.biz EP today.

The four-tracker is a perfect introduction to Ryan Durkin’s sound, blending his well-documented love for rap and R&B (check his Soundcloud page for remixes of Frank Ocean, Danny Brown and more) with a neon-drenched house sensibility that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Night Slugs 12″.

‘wh.ee.ly’ is the record’s stand-out for us, and gives us a mission statement immediately with dusty house chords gracing a low slung Southern rap rhythm. While Durkin might not be a household name yet, fans of Machinedrum, Girl Unit and R1 Ryders should check this EP without delay, you can listen free after all- what’s the worst that could happen?
