Listen to Black Sabbath's new nine-minute single, 'God Is Dead?'

The Godfathers of Metal trudge through the first single off their forthcoming album.

Ozzy Osbourne and company take the Nietzschean route on ‘God Is Dead?’, a riff-heavy sludge reminiscent of the band’s hey-day. The song appears on 13, Black Sabbath’s first studio LP with Osbourne since 1978; this incarnation of the band features original members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler and Audioslave’s Brad Wilk filling in for drummer Bill Ward.

Stream the song below (and forgive the “I Heart Radio” drops). 13 is due out on June 11, and is produced by Rick Rubin. The four-piece will also tour the UK in December. [via Consequence of Sound]
