The Brooklyn-via-Toronto producer recasts the dreamy, slo-mo original.

Rone’s ‘Bye Bye Macadam’ initially appeared on Tohu Bohu, which was released last year on Parisian imprint InFiné. Now, a handful of remixes of the windswept original have been released on 12″ and digital (accompanied by some eye-catching art).

Alongside versions by Juan Atkins and PLANkT is this powerhouse re-imagination by UNO NYC talent Aquarian. Like last year’s Obsidian EP, Aquarian’s remix of ‘Bye Bye Macadam’ is a palpitation-inducing bit of techno, dense with shadows and non-stop percussion. Download it below.
