If only Icelandic song titles were Scrabble legal.

With their new album Kveikur just around the corner, the Icelandic four-piece have dropped yet another taster in the form of the gorgeous ‘Ísjaki’. The most uplifting cut we’ve heard from the record so far, ‘Ísjaki’ harks back to the band’s earlier days with its chiming glockenspiels, swooping and chest-beating chorus. This is the kind of Icelandic dream pop we’ve been hoping the band would find a stranglehold on once more, and from the sounds of ‘Ísjaki’ they’ve nailed it.

Kveikur will be released on June 17 via XL Recordings.
