The pangender rapper takes weird to new extremes in the video for ‘The Initiation’.

Taken from the EP Betty Rubble: The Initiation, the track’s itchy paranoia is aptly reflected by the clip’s low-budget Cronenbergian gruesomeness, in which Blanco’s skull grows a second face and prowls round a bleak industrial wasteland looking for a fight. It’s the best rap song with a Latin chorus we’ve heard in ages.
