Kveikur follows last year’s relatively understated Valtari, and the band has promised to move towards a more aggressive sound this time around. The album is now streaming on Amazon.

The record was self-produced by the three members of Sigur Rós, Jón Þór Birgisson, Georg Holm and Orri Páll Dýrason, and will be released on XL Recordings on June 18. Sigur Rós will be touring Europe through August; those dates are below.
