2013 hasn’t been totally kind to the Dipset producer – quite aside from losing some of his critical lustre, he was also shot and hospitalised in a robbery – but will his latest redress the balance?

The Remixes Vol. 1 , due on EDM stable Ultra, sees Araab continuing his interest in all things wobbly and gaudy, with remixes of the likes of Skrillex and Mt. Eden making the cut. Kid Cudi, Travis Barker and Chase N. Cashe are among his other subjects on the 11-track collection. Two originals also feature, and see Araabmuzik continuing to operate in the souped-up trance mould heard in his recent output.
