DC rapper Fat Trel releases long-delayed SDMG mixtape, feat. beats by Young Chop, Lee Bannon, Harry Fraud and more

Washington, DC’s leading street rap specialist shares tales of Sex Drugs Money & Guns.

Fat Trel’s Lil Durk-nodding ‘Niggaz Dying’ showed a newly pensive side of the rapper, and the song was barely edged out for highest honors by the FACT Singles Club. The track is the centerpiece of Trel’s long-awaited SDMG (an abbreviation for Sex Drugs Money & Guns, naturally) mixtape, which was just released.

Stream/download SDMG below. The 21-track effort features a handful of guest verses, including appearances by ratchet rapper YG and fellow DC reps Wale and Black Cobain. Production is mostly handled by 19-year-old Canadian upstart JGramm Beats (Travis Scott’s ‘Upper Echelon’), but FACT faves Young Chop, Lee Bannon, Harry Fraud, and DJ Mustard each contribute beats, as well.
