Berlin-based doom-monger Samuel Kerridge has announced details of his maiden full-length.

Kerridge has thrown his lot in with Regis‘ Downwards imprint this year, and it’s proved a natural fit: his From The Shadows That Melt The Flesh EP set industrial drones over troglodytic beat programming, and Waiting For Love was an even pricklier and snottier proposition. He also consolidated the partnership with a track on 20 Years Of Downwards, which collected fresh material from Downwards affiliates old and new.

A Fallen Empire will be Kerridge’s debut album, and promises seven tracks of dystopian techno with heavy industrial overtones. The set will arrive on 2xLP on October 30; in the absence of new music, ‘Waiting For Love 1’ is available to stream below. [via Resident Advisor]
