Fuck Buttons and Alex Mora host exhibition in London tonight

Fuck Buttons and photographer Alex da Mora will host an exhibition tonight at London’s Wayward Gallery.

Mora shot the artwork for Fuck Buttons’ last album Slow Focus, and has “worked closely with the band over the past year, both in his studio and on the road.” The exhibition will also feature DJ sets from Fuck Buttons and friends.

Here’s some more info, from the exhibition’s press release:

The Slow Focus imagery is a stark collection of jewellery and abstract objects intended to visually interpret and compliment the sounds and dark landscape of the album. The exhibition will feature a selection of prints from the album sessions, the physical album cover jewellery presented on a plinth in the gallery and a selection of Alex’s further work with the band, including singles sleeves and shots taken during his trip with them to their headline slot at the Glastonbury 2013 Park Stage last June.

Exclusively for this show, Alex and Fuck Buttons have collaborated once more to create a final and, as yet, unseen piece of artwork, to both celebrate and complete the set. This new piece will be on display at the show and will also be available in a limited and numbered run of 100 signed art prints at the event.
