The Supergrass veteran joins the meaty Sunday line-up of the annual outdoor party.

Gaz Coombes will join the reformed Ride and Patti Smith at this year’s Field Day, dipping into his arsenal of hits from a 20-year career that spans Supergrass’s 1995 single ‘I Should Coco’ right up to his brand new and critically acclaimed solo album Matador.

Following Saturday’s electronic focus, the Sunday of the festival draws on the rockier end of the spectrum with the likes of Savages, Mac DeMarco, Ducktails and Viet Cong all on the bill.

Field Day takes place on June 6-7 at Victoria Park in East London. Check out the confirmed names so far for both days below, and grab tickets from the festival’s website.
