The Irish punk oddballs turn up the gore for their signature tune.
Girl Band first appeared on our radar in 2013 with their bizarre cover of Blawan’s ‘Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage’, which they retooled as a thrash-punk meltdown of nuclear proportions crowned with singer Dara Kiely shrieking like a man possessed.
It’s completely bonkers, and now it’s got a video to match, in which a Frankenstein-like mortician gets his hands bloody to summon a rave from beyond the grave. Directed by Bob Gallagher, it’s not recommended for squeamish viewers.
